READY TO CONQUER THE WORLD

Last years European Rallycross Champion Sverre Isachsen from Norway will this year go for ”world domination”.

Rallycross has always been a European motorsport, but this year the USA has shown a lot of interest for the sport and later in the year Sverre Isachsen will do some promotional events in America.

-I think rallycross is by far the most entertaining motorsport there is, and I think the American audience will love it. The cars are spectacular and it’s action all the way, Isachsen says.

Drivers like Ken Block and Travis Pastrana are expected to take part in the rallycross events in the USA this fall, and Tanner Foust will do some rounds in the European Championship.

-I know they are superstars, but I’m going for victory anyway. I won the championship last year and hope to repeat that this season, the Norwegian says.

Sverre Isachsen will also this season drive a Ford Focus, and the car is not much different from last year.

-We have done something with the engine and the gearbox, but the car is pretty much the same. Never change a winning team, you know.

 

The colours and some of the sponsors are new on the car, though. The European tire dealership, First Stop, is a new main sponsor.

 

-I’m very thankful for the support from First Stop, and we hope to make the brand known all over Europe. We also have a new website and will focus more on promotion this year than before.

 

The season kicks off in Portugal May the 2^nd.
